Filiz Erdoğan Tuğran was born in Istanbul in 1984, graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Sociology in 2006. In 2011, she completed her master's degree at Istanbul University Institute of Forensic Medicine, and completed her doctorate at the same university in the Radio-TV-Cinema department. Since 2013, she has been working at Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Communication.
