Ali Gençoğlu graduated from Yeditepe University, Department of Radio, TV and Cinema. He continued his academic life at METU and Gazi University. Currently, he is a Research Assistant at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Department of Radio, TV and Cinema and a member of the Organising Committee of Çalı Village Films Festival and Academic Activities Coordinator.
