Dr. Fırat Osmanoğulları

Fırat Osmanoğulları was born in 1987. He graduated from Başkent University Biomedical Engineering Department in 2009. In 2014, he completed his master's degree in Gazi University Radio TV Cinema department and in 2021 he completed his doctorate in Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Radio TV Cinema department. He has articles in various academic and non-academic books and journals, and has also published a book titled 'Gothic Film Aesthetics'. At the same time, he is currently the editor of the journal Sinefilozofi, in which he has been involved since its establishment. His main academic interests are philosophy of cinema, film aesthetics, gothic and horror cinema.
